Nancy McKeon
American actress Nancy McKeon is credited for portraying the tomboy Jo Polniaczek in the late 1970s and 1980s sitcom The Facts of Life, alongside Molly Ringwald and George Clooney. What makes McKeon unique? She is known to conduct research for her characters or roles. When she played a role in the film, The Division, McKeon actually spent some of her time with the police force. Also, for her role in Strange Voice, she interviewed patients about the condition for her to be knowledgeable about her role.
After appearing in a number of films and TV shows, she still hasn’t retired from the show business yet. But instead, she continues to appear in minor roles on TV. In 2003, she got married to film technician Marc Andrus. They currently reside in Austin, Texas, and raise their two daughters there.
