Angela Bassett

She’s a woman of power and her portrayal of strong characters in her films skyrocketed her career. Angela Bassett is notable for her performance as Tina Turner in the 1993 biopic film, What’s Love Got to Do with It. Earning a master of fine arts degree from the Yale School of Drama, she has more to offer in her other blockbuster films. She just turned 61 but she ages like fine wine!

With no plans of retiring yet, Angela still appears in recurring roles on the TV series, American Horror Story, where she received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award.
