Phylicia Rashad

Phylicia Rashad is known for her role as Cosby’s wife Clair Huxtable on the NBC sitcom The Cosby Show. She was born in Houston, Texas, U.S. in 1948 but grew up in Mexico, so she can speak fluent Spanish. Her mother Vivian Ayers was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, and her father was a dentist.
