Gabourey Sidibe – Surgery

American actress Gabourey Sidibe gained wider recognition for being one of the regular cast members of the highly successful horror anthology American Horror Story. Her debut in “Precious” is very classic, her superb performance finally earned her the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead, and it also opened her film career. There is no doubt that Gabourey Sidibe is an excellent and unique actress.

Sidibe has reportedly lost close to 150 pounds after undergoing surgery. The young actress shared in her memoir, “This is Just my Face,” that she’s always struggled with her weight. She also shared in her memoir that while some might think that she cheated by undergoing surgery, it was, to a huge degree, more of a last resort, because she tried everything and none of them worked. Well, we don’t care what the critics say, we’re glad she’s on right track!
