Hudson was born in Los Angeles, California, U.S. in 1979. She won the Golden Globe Award for her excellent performance in the movie Almost Famous. Aside from acting, she also got awarded for her efforts toward breast cancer research.

In case not everybody knows, Kate is the daughter of the equally beautiful actress Goldie Hawn to her second husband, Bill Hudson.
